Lead Your Revolution - What Its All About

LEAD YOUR REVOLUTION

In 2010 – as the US Senate limps, as the CO2 emitter lobbies, as our economy lags and as our Nation loses – the American people are wise to what is going on. We know that widespread instability is the sorry consequence of our fossil fuel society, that it is unacceptable with the energy we use to pollute the water we drink, dirty the air we breathe and endanger the climate that sustains our inhabitance on earth. We are not fools idling in the smog. We see our jobs drying up like oil wells. We witness our national wealth flowing like a pipeline to the Multinationals and Middle East when it should be building communities and brightening our future right here at home. Even though we have all benefited from a higher standard of living from the comforts and conveniences of the conventional energy economy, we now know that the fossil fuel energy economy has no place in the 21st century. Our country’s entrepreneurial spirit is great – we have walked on the moon and cured polio. With this problem solving spirit in mind we know that there are vast alternatives to pollution emitting energy and that we can develop, harness and deploy amazing new cost effective solutions to the energy crisis.

Let us be clear in this moment, in this new era, that we choose no longer to accept the old order. We will not accept our democracy to be run by the dirty energy companies, any more than we did not accept the British Monarchy to run our colonies, any more than we did not accept the slave industry to deny the emancipation proclamation, any more than we did not appease Hitler, and any more than we did not accept segregation and inequality by race, creed, religion or gender. We are the proud people of the United States and we are leading a revolution. One by one we are taking vital matters of survival itself and the survival of our ideals into our own hands – as we have always done in the face of daunting challenges. The American people of this brand new decade are taking the mantle of change into our own hands, rather than waiting on the government. In our nation’s history of making epic change, the government does not lead, we the people do. Therefore we the American people are hereby rising up to assert our fundamental right to provide a better life to ourselves and our children.

Won't you please join us, we cannot afford to wait longer, now is the time for you to LEAD YOUR REVOLUTION.

Here's How:

I. Lead by Example! Make a definitive change, a revolution, in your life. Make your personal change count, make it meaningful. Stand up in some way or form for sustainability; make a change for clean energy; act out for conservation. Make a new habit and new lifestyle around new energy. In at least one solid way, demonstrate that you will no longer cooperate with the fossil fuel economy and in at least one defining new way, demonstrate how you are embracing the pollution free energy of our future. Really commit to your change, as this is your personal revolution, and whatever you choose to do follow through. {SEE WHAT OTHERS HAVE DONE AND ARE DOING TO LEAD REVOLUTIONS}

II. Exhibit your revolution! Profile your change-making, show your commitment and chronicle your action experience by developing your very own REVOLUTION SCRAPBOOK page.

III. Pass it on! Share your revolution scrapbook page, a unique and compelling story~entry of change, with others: pass on your very own scrapbook entry through your e-mail lists, to your friends, to your family, through your facebook and twitter accounts, at work or at school. Don’t be shy: share what you do, share what you learn and share what you give so others you care about can be so inspired – so that others may lead their own revolutions and pass it on through all their associations and so on...

Ultimately, through these steps, we the people of this most promising democracy are hereby leading, growing and sustaining a revolution so that the revolutionary ideals of this revolutionary land are sustained for future generations.

Hmmmm, strange, posts come to a wall? Anyway, your welcome, I'll try to think of something to do here, but I am not really that active right now.
